We took a short ride to check out launch sites at these two lakes in Southern WI. We happened to meet a couple of guys with an H18 and helped them step the mast. Here is a short video of our motorcycle ride and some sailing, shot from shore.

Holy cow,there are more boats in that video than we have on our entire 400 sq mile lake!
Took the N5.0 out in a blow yesterday two up. We were the only boat, of any kind on the water.

On the bright side, if you have a major failure on that lake, you can just walk back to shore from one boat to another.
We have wetsuits and the cooler/windier weather is coming. That's when we will go to Geneva.

When the cooler weather hits, wear a windbreaker shell overtop your wetsuit. It makes a surprising difference.

I'll try that. I had found that I was hot at 62F, unless I capsized and then it was comfortable. It was comfortable at 54F, and too cold at 45F, though survivable.
