I had a small crack under the daggerboard pit. I did a temporary repair from the outside that lasted a few days, then thought to repair it from the inside and threw epoxy all around the pit bottom, with a plastic cup and a brush. I did it both sides. After sailing the hulls came out almost dry, like never seen.. Yes, it’s about time to do a bottom job, but last time I did it I still had more water after sailing. I’m sure it’s a common problem but not such a common solution, so I thought to share. Just put the cup with epoxy inside the hull first (through the inspection port) and then apply.
