So finally getting ready to go sailing July 31st through August 14th.
Being a full time cad designer and running a farm leaves very little time for sailing
Lately it's only once a year up to my favorite burt lake in northern michigan
I have three sail boats, prindle 19, a nacra 450, and a hobie 16
We pull a pontoon boat with a converted bus and the wife drags up one of my sailboats
This year it's the hobies turn.
My son is bringing his hobie sixteen up as well
It was a tough decision to bring the hobie this year. Because I have a friend thats meeting me up
But only for 3 days.. he's 240 lbs and Im 170
Rest of the 2 weeks my son and are challenging each other on hobies. :)
Carl
Finally. BURT LAKE

Hi Carl,
I'm in Michigan as well and have sailed in burt Lake. It was great. Having your son with his 16 should make for great fun. Enjoy! -

Carl,
How do you like your N450? Does it Hobby Horse in small chop because of the shorter hulls?
Thanks, mark -

I really like the 450. It slices right thru.
Its easy to rig and easy to sail -
