Double Stack Trailer

These are some pictures of the modifications I made to allow for taking two boats to the lake or beach. I wanted to make the double stack such that the top boat didn't place any weight on the bottom boat, that I could independently move each boat around at the lake or beach and of course that they could be rigged without landing them on the rocky ground at our local lake.

I conjured up the idea of making a lightweight wooden Beach Trailer for the top boat which could be winched up a pair of rails ovr the bottom boat.

It has worked out pretty well. I can load and unload both boats by myself if necessary.
