1-Cut out

I cut out the entire damaged area, leaving a small lip, 1/2 to 3/4 inch around the edges.

2-Acess Port

3-Foam

I made templates with foam core and fiberglass cloth, one to fit inside the void, the other as backing inside the hull

4-Foam

I changed my mind on the foamcore and added some blueboard covered with mylar. I pushed the white beadboard flotation blocks up against the mylar covered blueboard and placed a weight on it to hold it in place.

5-Fiber1

I fiberglassed the void and the back of the hull. Almost finished. I think there is too much fiberglass on there, so I will cut an acess port on the other hull and add a bit of wight to balance things out. I use this boat for pleasure, if I raced, I would
