Epoxy-Repair

I had to replace the forward cam cleats for the jib sheeting system. This required removing what was left of the old cam cleats. Underneath I found not one, but TWO sets of holes. Apparently this boat is now going on its third set of jib sheeting hardware

This is about as far back as I can cram my camera. The lens hood was right up against a bulkhead. But you can see how the foam fits around the daggerboard trunk.

Still inside the hulls looking backward toward the daggerboard trunks. The P-Cat has a solid deck with foot wells around the daggerboard trunks. The wells come down almost to the top of the styrofoam blocks, so it's tough to see the daggerboard...

Inside Looking Forward

There are no inspection ports on the P-Cat forward of the rear beam. The only way air can get in or out is through a second set of drain plugs on the boat. (Yes, the P-Cat has four drain plugs: two on the transoms and two inside the boat.)
