These 3 inch nylon straps are 60 inches long. One end is secured to the wall by screwing a 3 inch long angle iron through it. The other end is folded in from both sides and then a hole is melted through all layers with a heated rod or bolt.
Insert a 1/4 inch bolt (with washers) and tighten a nut to secure it to the strap. Use a wing nut to fasten the strap to the angle iron.
Since these straps (intended for securing loads on trucks) are rated for 15,000 pounds, I am sure you could substitute with a lighter strap material.
