My dad bought the boat from someone on Lake St Clair (MI) in the 70s, and sold it to someone on that same lake several years ago. Its mast was about a foot or two short due to having been welded after a capsize, and it was heavy at the rear due to aluminum rudders crafted after one of the plywood rudders snapped. It'd take about an hour to set up, and another to tear down. We eventually came up with a system to set it up right on the trailer so we could be quick at a boat ramp (usually sailed it on inland lakes).
