new swivel doodad from ronstan. much nicer. The epoxy sealed wood block only lasted 3 years. This year I wrapped the swivel mounting plate with a plastic bag, bolted it to the beam, and filled in the gaps with thickened epoxy. yes, it sticks to aluminum just fine, but not to the plastic bag. You could also save time and buy the saddle ronstan makes.
