Man Overboard - Sailing Away
We wanted photos of the boat from a distance, so my wife took the camera and she and my son hopped in the drink for an impromptu MOB drill. In this photo we're still sailing away from them, and haven't made our turn to go back and pick them up.
Our new batten caps had not yet arrived when this photo was made, so the battens in the main are still bolted into place with far too much tension on them. I don't think the main is nearly as blown as it looks. Once the tension is off the battens, I hope to see the pocket get a lot shallower and move forward.
