The Trailer Sailor was launched in May of 1996 by Brad Bachelor as the first online resource for the trailerboat sailor. Little material was available tailored specifically to the small boat sailor, and Brad took on the daunting task of filling that void. Over the next couple of years Brad Bachelor's Trailer Sailor BBS became one of the most popular sailing forums on the internet, and so it is today.
