How front beam attaches. Rear is the same. This is one item that has to remain in the factory place,(fore/aft wise). It provides stiffness to the frame where the rails angle in. You can move the cradles to suit your boat. My 5.7 is not totally centred as I had moved the cradles to accommodate an H18.
I'm pretty sure the fitting an all be flipped, & the beam mounted on top of the rails. That would seem to be the better way, but it would make the Cat sit 8" higher, maybe more grunt work, or deeper water required to launch/retrieve.
