Flight Risk at rest in Rollins, MT
I slide the boat in on Friday evenings, and often get a night sail in the 10 to 12 kts evening wind that fall off the mountainsides when the sun set. Blows offshore about a 1/2 mile, makes for fabulous flat water reaches along the shore in the moonlight!
First light brings the morning thermals. 12 to 15 kts out on the main lake is worth getting up @ 7 am!
