Nestled in the trees!
The only secure place for such a light boat on a big lake. Although our cove is generally so protected I can leave the main up all weekend, if it blows out of the SE it's got a 15 mile fetch in which to build up a 3 to 4 foot chop. Flight Risk whines big time regardless of whether it's at the dock or on the buoy.
The railway was orginally built for a 400 lb hydro w/ a 225 hp outboard, Fun toy! I extended the crossbars, first to 12' for the Reynold 21, and then another 2' for FR. The rails were welded up out of 3" square steel tubing with a 1/4" x 3.5" plate steel cap. The rails are heavy enough to just lie on the lake bed. The cradle (also out of 3" sq tubing) rides on 8" trailer wheels (no tires) with trailer spindles welded directly to the cradle. The whole mess is dragged up with an electric winch.
