This diagram indicates where I'm planning to put telltales on the sails of my boat.
EDIT: I didn't wind up going with this setup. I was pointed toward Arvel Gentry's articles on telltales and sailing setup, and used that instead. I am INCREDIBLY pleased with Arvel Gentry's telltale system. I have a long way to go before I can make the most of them, but already I'm loving it.
