Inside Looking Backward Wider
Hey, I did have more photos inside the hulls! This is a stitched pair looking back toward the daggerboard trunks and foot wells, with the arch of the front beam in the upper right. The A-frame reinforcing that's in the photo looking forward obviously continues backward and across the beam.
These internal shots are all lit by sunlight striking the fiberglass on the outside of the boat. It's largely translucent. One neat feature is that the deck has a distinct color that is different from that of the rest of the hulls. From what I can see there was a blue green gel coat job done during manufacture of the boat, but only on the deck. The deck suffered a lot more UV damage than the rest of the hulls, and exhibits alligator cracking. The hulls below the deck line show no signs of alligator cracking. Maybe this green layer has something to do with that?
