Okay where is this list? Do you need a secret decoder ring? Or are you just f'in with people? Which would be completely out of character for you.

Sorry about that Dave. The link showing who has registered is now activated for both the F16 Nationals and for the Caterwaul. Go to www.f16national.com, click on Race Info, then select Entry List. There are now active links for both regattas. Check periodically at the website as we are updating and adding info and pics regularly! Still hoping for a great big turnout of F16s for the championship, and other spin and A class cats for the Caterwaul.

Just noticed I had a typo in my original post about the regatta website for the 2012 F16 Nationals. The website is www.f16nationals.com (with an

s

) Also, don't forget running in conjunction with the championship we will have our annual Caterwaul welcoming all spin boat 22.5' and less and all A-Cats. We are expecting a big fleet of F18s for the Caterwaul.

So after sailing the boat just eight times, mostly on a lake with rapid 150 degree wind shifts and gust-lull-gust conditions, I've signed up for the F16 Nats. Now, it's time to kick some butt, or get kicked. Either way, I'm in!!

We are delighted to see that so many folks have indicated on the catsailor website that they intend to sail the F16 Nationals (http://www.catsailor.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=226681#Post226681) . It would help us out tremendously if you would go ahead and register. From what we have heard from the sailors, we are expecting a fantastic turnout, but it is hard to make our plans (and to entice our potential sponsors) until folks go ahead and register. Help us make it the best event for you possible by registering now! Thank you so much, and we look forward to hosting you in November. Details at www.f16nationals.com

It just becomes easy then. Almost idiot proof, which is lucky because my boat will have two.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Kris Hathaway? The F16 Nationals regatta organizers need some input from the F16 Class Officers and the email address we have must be flawed (no response) and we don't have a telephone number for him. Can anyone pass on good contact info for Kris? Thanks!

Something to think about!!!! Tuesday prior to the event is the election. I'm going to be on the road, and have to do an absentee ballot. This just hit me yesterday.

I'm sure other's are in this scenario as well.

Damn, that's not good.

I got between 11mpg and 12mpg pulling 7 x F18's from Long Beach CA to Eustis, FL.

Yeahbut...you had a Tailwind Mike!

And you probably went fast enough to get that trailer planing!

Remember, Karl's also hauling his new custom toy box, wich is bigger than my first dorm room!

How cold is it? Cold air will kill your gas mileage.

That's 7 HEAVY F18's and Karl is towing 3 light weight F16's. Even with the Cummings it is still a Dodge Karl, you only have yourself to blame.

14mph headwind..... That and I was going a bit faster than I probably should've been. Much over 70 and that thing just gets into the wrong rpm range and the mileage just tanks. Plus I think we've switched to winter fuel up here already. I know gasoline has.

Best I've ever done was 8 cats on one trailer and I pulled just shy of 13mpg. That was with a 24' enclosed though. The windage on these things is just wretched.

I will say that Krantz's Van is about the only road legal Ford I'd consider owning.

11.84mpg, lose the nasty headwind, drop 3mph and things are a bit more reasonable.

Should be there before 2pm. Way earlier if we don't stop for breakfast.
