Heyyy, Darth Korz of the Imperial TIE fighters!

Yep - guess Darline hasn't had a chance to post the results yet. We had two days of cool weather, clear skies and nice breeze down in Melbourne. Seventeen boats - two H16s, three T4.9s, one N 5.5U, two H18s, two H Tigers, one N F-18, and six I-20s. Great bunch of people - well behaved fleet with no general recalls in seven races. Mark and Lisa Herendeen had an awsome welcome party at their slightly Jeane-damaged home, and the Hubels had the Saturday party catered by the Texas Roadhouse. The RC was a lot of fun - no-nonsense when it mattered and a bunch of cut-ups when we had time to breath. It was a pleasure working with them. One change-mark in the last race as the breeze started to go away on Sunday afternoon. Got everyone back to the beach before it totally died. Loooong drive home.

1st - Jennifer Linsay and Kelly Gray - T4.9
2nd - John "West Wing" Casey and Kenny Pierce - I-20
3rd - Alex and Patsy Shafer - N F-18
4th - Brian "Web Nazi" Karr and Jon "BEFI" Cruden

Stories and pictures are or will be up on Florida Multihull Sailor - http://www.floridamultihullsailor.com/ - US SAILING - http://www.ussailing.org/alter/alter05/index.htm - and the One Design page - http://www.1design.net/

Sorry for the delay - I went straight back to hurricane cleanup, and I'm sure some of the other folks did, too.

Alter Cup Fleet will be finalized in the coming weeks. Petitions are due by 31 Dec 2004.
