I heard a tale last night that there was a boat supply problem and that the US Sailing Multihull Championship was off - this IS NOT TRUE! In fact, the 10 New AHPC Capricorn F18s are already stateside and are raring to go! We'll actually have 12 on site - two backups.

Also note that there is an incredible deal on these boats now through Fun in the Sun Services, inc (yes, they paid for an ad!).

Dem are nice boats too. Very good finish. Had a look at JW's last year at Midwinters.

I heard they are going to use a new format for the Alter Cup this year. They are going to send out sailors on 5 Waves numbered 1 through 5. They are launched and told to go whereever they want. About 1 hour later (depending on wind) the Alter Cup crews have a start and whoever rounds each Wave to port in order and gets back to the start line wins. The

down

teams in the rotation are the ones out on the Waves.
I think it will go smashingly well.

You forgot the part about where we leave the drain plugs out. <img src=

One on each.

None of the Alter Cup boats this year will have plugs - in addition, you will forfeit your damage deposit if you try and put any in. <img src=
