It's been (and still is) a busy week for sailing and partying at Put-in-Bay. Started last Thursday with the Steeplechase Race from Sandusky over to the island. Then Bay Week racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday was the Middle Bass Challenge, which this year required the boats to sail counterclockwise around Middle Bass Island, with start and finish at Put-in-Bay.
And meanwhile, on Sunday and Monday Shark catamarans began arriving at the yacht club for their 50th Annual National Championship Regatta. 12 Sharks are here, and they had their first two races today. It's a three-day event with their awards party scheduled for Thursday night.
