Bay Week has started -- too bad you aren't here!

18 Hobie Waves are here at Put-in-Bay, Ohio for the Interlake Yachting Association's annual regatta, which is also the North Coast Championship for the Waves.

Would have had more Waves, but Dave and Leah White couldn't come from Key Largo, and another guy couldn't come because he broke a limb in a bicycling accident (car hit him).

Good wind today, supposed to be 10-20, and same for tomorrow.

Only three

big

cats in a separate fleet -- two Hobie 18's and a Nacra 5.8.

What a great event! Put-In-Bay is a better place to sail than the Keys.

Perfect weather...12 to 22 knots for 5 days straight, 70-78 degrees.

Great parties and fun places nearby.

This is a must do just for the conditions.

I don't have any pictures of the racing, but here are two albums of on-shore boats and people. I had already posted them on the Wave forum, too.

Rick will post the results when he has time, after the Shark Nationals are over.
