Larry Shannon, Birmingham AL, passed away this week. He was a great man and great catamaran sailor. He became a NACRA dealer in the late 1970's (after racing Sharks and Tornado's). He was the driving force behind catamaran sailing on the inland lakes of the Southeast United States. His ability to make, and keep, lifelong friends made him a remarkable individual.

Fair winds and following seas to a great father and friend.

And a following sea, Larry...

Tom - best to Millie. Your Dad was a great guy - I'm glad to have known him.

Sorry to here...Take care Tom. I only had a privilege to meet your dad once but enjoyed him and his stories. I am sure he and Oley are racing right now and then will follow that with who has the best story!
