Ian Farrier has confirmed that sales of his plans for home/custom build will cease on 25th September.
Bit of a surprise, but prodution boats are taking priority.
His support for plans already sold and those purchased in the interim is still assured
Get in quick if you want your own F-32, F-82 or F-85 plans

Wow! That always seemed to be what he was about. I guess it's consuming too much of his time get the new ones built.

Where, and what, are his boats in production, that it is taking all his time?

the f22 plans have been for sale for 3? years now but now almost all the molds are done for a 100 or 200 boat production run from his new factory in nz

the other, bigger boats, like the f32, will be available from approved builders world-wide

answering questions and providing plans for custom variations by home builders seems to be taking time than he feels could be better spent on volume production issues

keep in mind he has a huge investment in the new factory and it's all dead capital until he starts selling boats from it

I did not know he had a new factory, in New Zealand you say? Nice, so which models will be produced there?

I'll gladly fly to NZ to pick one up!

He is just going to be producing the F-22 at this factory. The rest of his current models are all home build models or built by approved builders such as Melvest Marine or Multihulls Direct in the Philippines.

Will Delta allow you to duct tape one to the bottom of whatever bus you fly over there?

Unfortunately, Delta doesn't go to New Zealand, only Syndney out of LAX.

I'd love to get down there, heard great things about it. One of our pilots retired about 5 years ago and moved there, permanantly, I think his wife was from there. I'm going to try to track him down and see how that's working out.

Maybe I could cary one back, in many small pieces, as 'cary on baggage' if I make enough trips to SYD and then go visit him!

Here you go Jay, you, Mom and the girls would look pretty good on that F9A (scroll to the bottom pict.)

We had an F 22 'homebuilt' from Canada at the Tri Nationals in Ft. Walton this past spring. We are hoping there will be a couple production F 22s on Pensacola Bay for the Trimaran Nationals in April/May 2013. The cruising version with short rig had style and comfort. I bet the Racing version, with a taller rig and top - shelf sail plan will turn Corsair heads.

She thinks I hate going to work!

Gotcha. So when Delta says they've got a first class cabin, they promote it as:

But you've got the video showing what first class is REALLY like.

Man, I've gotta save my shillings... Coach is no way to fly...

Early on in Timbo's illustrious career as a swashbuckling pilot, he learned that texting while flying could have somewhat annoying consequences:

Get some duct tape, we're good to go!

Radar is for pussies anyway, real men don't need it.

It flew in, it'll fly out. Fill it up, let's go flyin'!

Looks like it's got the convertible option too.

Time is running out for anyone wanting to build a Farrier Trimaran in the future. Make your mind up before September 25 or you will miss out.
