If you are planning on sailing in the Dauphin Island Race this coming weekend and are going to launch from Fairhope YC, you need to read this.
The road to the YC will be closed starting at 4:00 on Friday. They also be booting all the cars out of the parking lot at that time as well. I spoke with the guy who is running that portion of the event and his only solution was,
Can't you just rig in the morning?
If you're near Mobile, you should do this race. It's always a lot of fun!!
