Why on earth would anyone want to be a U2 fan. Id rather drive a jet ski non stop for the rest of my life than listen to that crap.

Stop trying to

railroad

the thread and put the issue out to a general membership vote for Democracy's sake..., even if we're all sitting at the same table you commie $!###

U2 is classic. Don't worry... you're still cool with the Munedo shirt at regattas!

p.s. Have fun sailing your new Bar-B-Que rack !!! sweet hobbies...

Although I would agree it was an unattended railroading of the thread, I had to side with Ding, U2 is about the most over hyped band in the world. I could put up with the Save the World crap if their music was half decent. Yes, if I was drunk and Irish it might sound ok.

Actually Jimmy Buffett sucks more than all else... unless you are still a frat boy in college (and he sucks then too, but you probably just went with the flow).

I'd rather sail my Hobie 16 than anything else that I've tried (sadly, that's not a big assortment, but I LOVE the Hobie 16)...

Now, I'm Irish, get drunk, and still think U2 has sucked for a long, long time. Probably started with ZooRopa, or around the same time INXS started to bite.

There's a new Menudo now, but it just can't be the same without Ricky Martin... (Insert PUKING gremlin here)

I actually went to a Conway Twitty concert about 25 years ago! My girlfriend had a thing for him and bought the tickets.

Not bad, not Zeplin but not too bad, of course I was much younger and drunker then and anything that would get her -in the mood- was fine with me!

Now Perry Como, there's a singer... <img src=

. . .Santana . . .

There was this willowey blond, had a black ram skin on her waterbed, and a tiffany style black light over it. She really liked Santana. Particularly

Sighing Winds, Crying Beasts

. The whole

Abraxas

album was good. I don't miss the Baboon's Blood incense though.

Tim, come to think of it, she didn't live far from where you live now.

We need pictures Pete, or it never happened! (but just in case, where exactly was she located?? <img src=

I liked his old stuff but the new stuff he's doing with the guest singers is pretty good too.

Hey Now, all you killers, better turn your lights on, turn your lights on...

You're thinking of Cat Stevens. http://www.yusufislam.com/

Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, same thing, only different! <img src=

And that music sounded nothing like the call to prayer I heard in Dubai!

Missing sticks, not stones....

Cat lost his cash when he upgraded his F18 with a new wing mast to remaind competitive ... must have been smokin something good...

Cat--->

I'd rather drink Schlitz and sail high and fine on my F18 with a new wing mast, than drink Sam Adams and float on a f52...

hoser...
