Next week, Surf City Racing will be broadcasting live from the beach in Texas for the Great Texas 300. The Great Texas 300 is the premier distance beach catamaran race here in the US, with many of the best multihull sailors attending. The Great Texas Catamaran Race is an off-shore beach catamaran race along the Texas Coast. Starting in South Padre Island and finishing in Galveston, the race will cover approximately 300 miles along the Texas coast over the Father’s Day weekend. The race will be conducted in four stages with each stage starting and ending on the beach!

We will be streaming the Great Texas live on our Live Steaming Channel at www.justin.tv/greattexas300. A complete schedule of the broadcasts is given below.

We would be happy to send you press releases and summaries from the day's racing.

We have estimated finish time broadcasts as the actual time of broadcasts are subject to weather conditions. We will update the Google Group and https://www.facebook.com/GreatTexas300 with better estimates during the day of each leg.

John Williams, long-time multihull sailor and myself will be doing the commentary. Prior to the start at 10 am, John and myself will have interviews with the sailor along with an analysis of the upcoming day.

You're thinking of Canuckistan to the north. It's only an ice cube for 8-1/2 months in Minnesota, and we don't say

eh

, eh.
