I believe we are really going to enjoy the new venue for the Tradewinds.
Same as last year, except after the races most of the sailors will hang around, drink some beer, and tell lies, instead of heading out all over the islands.

I think the NOR may have alluded to that. I'll be checking on that shortly (not that I'm associated with the event other than a wandering drunk - because they always need more of those in the Keys...)
By the way, at present my febile services are available for a boat needing about 175# and two hands... Can share room costs, too
they are offerig discouts for the regatta
Group rate is $139 per night. Booked! I've stayed at bot hotels across the street three times each and they can be hit or miss. I'm over it.

Why is no one pre-registered?!?! I spoke to a few teams that are on the wrong side of the fence because they don't think anyone is going. I know we will have a good fleet but need to get people signing up!
Just pre-registered. I was waiting till I sort the boat name out, but I think I'll sail this one as is and do the 7 gun name change ceremony at a latter date.
Would be good if more than 7 F18's show up!

I would imagine a lot of the F16's are going to the youth worlds qualifiers instead of tradewinds.
