Anybody familiar with this sail material?

Not much. My understanding is that Alumashield is the brand of kevlar cloth used for sail making. It is used by North Sails company to make sails for larger multihulls. Essentially it is an intermediate hi-tech cloth between pentex/mylar and pure carbon fiber sailcloth.
Pricey stuff.
Don't know anything else.
