fl..sailing..beach access suggestions Apalachee Bay area

I'm heading out to Grayton beach on Friday ..going to spend the week and do as much sailing as possible...I'm heading over from Gainesville Fl...going to break the trip in half as it's only 60mph pulling the cat..does anyone have suggestions on where I might stop on the way there..it looks like the Apalachee Bay area is about 3 or so hours from me..I'd like to stop and launch and sail Friday and have some fun before heading on to Grayton beach..just me and my Cat..anybody got any suggestions?Glenn
