The 2016 Florida 300 included a family team that traveled over 1,600 miles from Canada to do the race. They were new to catamaran distance racing but not to family adventures!
Segey and Elena Duko both have written about their experiences, he sailed his 2004 Nacra F18 with his 13 year old son Anatoliy as crew. Since the race started in the Florida Keys in early May they had to do their training during the winter in Canada!
