I have a P15 ready to hit the water in the Little Creek area, but I can only find cement boat launches. Does anyone know where I can launch across the beach or of a marina that caters to Cats...?
There are a couple of beach access "ramps" that lead down to the beach. You will need beach wheels. There are a few off Shore Drive, Albemare Ave is where I keep mine. There are two in the North end of the beach 79th and 68th streets. They are gated and most likely locked. I bet VB parks & rec could open them. Also the July 28th Raven Rookie Race will be a good spot for you to meet some folks and I bet the gate will be open.
Also check out Lee street down near Alexanders on the bay restuarant.... Not sure but i think that onr is gateless..
Thanks, I see that the Sep Chesepeake Challenge Regatta looks to be launching near the Ships Cabin Restaurant on Shore Dr. - will give that location a try.
