I mostly use 3 different apps for wind/tide/weather info:

Radar Now!
Windfinder
SailFlow

Are there any other apps people find helpful? I would like to find a real-time lightning strike app.

Thanks,

Brad Walker

i like:
tides planner
Iwindsurf
windguru
and the composite plot (combines water temps, tides actual and predicted, current wind speed and direction, air and water temps) - utlizes noaa data / but some or all of this data is often missing - usually in bad weather lol

this is the composite for Jacksonville -https://tidesonline.nos.noaa.gov/plotcomp.shtml?station_info=8720226+Main+Street+Bridge,+St+Johns+River,+FL #"> https://tidesonline.nos.noaa.gov/plotcomp.shtml?station_info=8720226+Main+Street+Bridge,+St+Johns+River,+FL#

I use:
- Navionics for currents/tides and navigation (paid)

- PredictWind for wind model predictions (free for 2 locations, otherwise need to upgrade for more locations & for actual observations instead of predictions; note they have in-house prediction models that that tend to be better than either NOAA GFS and European ECMWF models inshore, at least in the San Francisco Bay Area)

I haven't used any of the apps listed above, so would be interested in people's opinions on which ones are best and what to use them for.
