He didn't come from this forum but someone by the name Brian Williams tried the cashiers check/pickup agent/add extra money on one of my ads in another forum. His email is william.eddy1000@gmail.com.

I hear ya. When I was selling off boat hardware, I would get those scams 1 or 2 a month. I actually had one send me a "check" that was for way over the amount. It was supposedly a Bank of America account, so I went to BoA and handed them the check; knowing it was false. I was told they sent it to their fraud department.
