I've just launched the new website for the Tybee 500 long distance race. If you aren't familiar with it, the Tybee 500 is the successor to the Worrell 1000 and is quite an adventure. Starting at Islamorada, FL and covering the whole East Coast of Florida ending at Tybee Island, Georgia.

Hell Ya! Why not? I don't think those hot rods will mind waiting up late for my Hobie 18 to arrive every night!
Actually I would really like to do that race, but considering I've never raced a spin boat and don't have the resources or ground crew for such an adventure, probably not going to happen.
If I did it, I would make sure I had a crew that had already done the race more than once. Probably wouldn't do it single handed like I did Round the Island (covered 135 miles at one go, but didn't have to sail the next day 😆 )
Get Philip to do it with you! (on his boat) 🙂
