Why is this website flooded with unrelated stuff? And have the members lost interest? Is there nothing left to discuss?
Bill, I am still here for you. I have no idea what is going with the website but it seems like it is under attack. Servers overloaded, spam posts. It is really disappointing.
Plenty to discuss! For a lot of sailors the season is just getting started.
Yes the site is having issues I'm trying to fix, until then I have to manually delete all the posts from unregistered or not logged in manually.
So even if you have an account, if you manage to post without being logged in, that post will get deleted.
You can quickly tell if you are currently logged in by the message just below the main menu...
"Welcome (Your Username)"

Yes there is a chance. I'm determined to get it done. The only solution is for me to build an entirely new website with the same features as the current one but with modern tools for mobile display and security.
The hang-up is the existing content which I haven't been willing to sacrifice. I'm going to hit it hard one more time this week and find a way. If I do find a way, the tools and programmers involved might cost more than I can cover, if so, I'll appeal for some help.
