So I posted a few weeks ago if anyone here played Stentec's Sail Simulator.
Today I decided to go online somewhat earlier than I usually get online. To my surprise I find a few players in the sail arena. So we are chit chatting, yadda yadda. One is from Holland the other from Italy.
So we are yapping away, a minute to the gun to start the race, I was chatting and NOT paying attention where I was heading. Gun goes off, I RAN AGROUND!
The one game I have been looking for online players with no luck, the day I find a few, I RUN AGROUND! GO FIGURE
I started three and half minutes late. So instead of dropping out and leaving the game, I rode it out. Started three minutes 30 something seconds behind. By the time the race finished, I finished only ONE minute behind the first play and two seconds behind the second player.
All in all its a very good game and pretty exact as in a real life situation. You can hear the boats humming when you are close to eachother. When overtaking others, you block the wind, and there sails go flat with no wind. Pretty close to real life situation.
I also noticed another player with a diferent skin on his boat. A skin I did not download and install, so I am asuming that it was his custom made skin. That said this game supports client side skins. In other words you dont have to download it to see it.
I recommend this game to everyone here. Cheap and fun. We can even hold our own regattas.
