Does anyone know if they still make these things? Mine broke at a regatta a couple weeks ago and I am trying to replace it. I know that APS and Hobie use to carry them but don't anymore.

I see them on eBay regularly. Many are still new in the box.

The company that made them (Midwest Aquatics) is still around - they are the Hobie Dealer in the Detroit area.

Hey there Factory Tech...just a question. Hobie used to have a shop/store in Oceanside a while ago. Where is the Hobie store now?

The factory has never had a "store". That would have been Hobie Oceanside years ago... a retail Hobie store, but not connected to the Hobie Cat Factory. In recent years "Surfride" became the name though and is just a surf shop.

Thanks guys. I am debating about getting another Mast Caddie or just going with the mast cradle that Matt was talking about. From what I've seen their prices are similar.

Yours broke too?

Since mine broke I have used a throwable cushion and I haven't noticed any additional abrasions on my mast since.

Yes, I'm not exactly sure how old it was. The mast was set down on a weak point. It wasn't a defect or anything.
