Posted by: @pmPROBLEM: I can't successfully log into the Piwigo site. Please advise.
It isn't setup to do that, strictly an archive for now so that the images can be browsed and maybe linked to in the future.

Posted by: @pm@damonadmin I tried to go back a page and got a leaving site pop up notification. Refreshed the page and back to normal.
Was it a warning about "unsaved content"? That would be normal, the system trying to keep you from losing your work. It could happen if you clicked into a form and then decided not to type anything, then when leaving the page you'd get the warning.

I can see others reactions but not my own . . .
I'm not clear what you mean? Can you do a screenshot? If you click on the "thumbs up - Thumbs down" reaction for a post, you should see something likePosted by: @pm I can see others reactions but not my own . . .

They are showing now, must have been a browser anomaly. I also checked with Chrome and Firefox and both behaving as designed.Posted by: @damon-linkousI'm not clear what you mean? I like the email notification that is sent if "you" are mentioned in a post . . . cool!Posted by: @damon-linkous@p-m Will do, there are a lot of different emails sent out. I'm going through and making sure they are as clear as possible and that the links that are sent work as intended.
Â
@p-m
There is a subscribe/unsubscribe link at the top of both forums and topics. Forum subscriptions send email about new topics, and topic subscriptions send email for new posts.
Â
Also, a really nice feature in the member profile. You can view and change all of your subscriptions there.

Posted by: @pmSo far everything seems to be working well. The subscriptions are nice and so far working as designed. I can now see the addition of the banners and Beachcats header, but the banners are not active links. 👍Â
Yes, I'm happy with the forum so far.
I'm working on several things at once now. Need to finalize how the new site will look, while I try things out it will be kind of a mess with lots of placeholder content. So you all will have a kind of "behind the scenes" look at the development process that my web clients never see.Â
I don't like that but think it is more important to get feedback as I try out new software. The next things are the replacement Classified Ads system and Calendar. I've tested a bunch and think I've made my choice, now working on migrating the current data for the classifieds. The calendar can start from scratch since this time of year it is empty.

Houston, we've got a problem!
The home page is not at all finished. Just some placeholder content and a link to the forums. Later I'll add full menus and ccontent. Some ignore the home page for now, I'll ask for feedback when it's close to finalized.Â
Right now testing the forum everything has to be done on the https://thebeachcats.tempurl.host/forums page.
What was the problem with login on mobile? How was it different than desktop?
The forum has its own menu where the login/logout is located for now.

I'll ignore the homepage for now as instructed, but FYI it's in a different language. 😕Â
Â
@p-m the placeholder text isn't a foreign language but something called Lorem Ipsum, commonly used to hold a place for text before it is final.Â
Consider it part of the behind the scenes nature of this test site. LOL
