F18 Class Rules

Hey all,

My name is Ben Wilson, I'm a senior product design student at Appalachian State. For my capstone I'm engaged in a project concerned with the transportation of Catamarans and would love to hear your feedback.

I was curious, in the F18 class is it possible to disassemble your mast into sections for storage purposes? I looked in the class rules and saw it has to "be made of aluminium of constant section." but didn't know if that meant it just had to be continuous during the race or what?
