Roll Call for Juana Good Time Regatta
Ok, so I'm still in Memphis, but I'll be on the road to Juana's in the AM. Should be setting up in the parking lot around 4-7pm if all goes well.
Glad that the cyclone has left the area, looks like the whole gulf coast had 40+ mph winds for three days with lots of rain. Rest of the week and weekend looks clear and mild.
We are excited for all of you to get here! We had 35 boats pre-register which is almost twice as many pre-registrations as last year. 11 boats are new to this regatta and 22 are from out of state! We usually have about 20-30 register between now and Friday night, so we it looks like another good turn out.
See you at the smooth sailing party on Friday night!
Mandy 😎
....Sounds like fun....please post pictures next week!!...as far as the winds, I think there were some exagerations out there....At least along I-10 I found only 20+ winds as I drove the whole stretch Sunday. Regardless, I hope anyone affected by the storm came out ok.
I've posted the pictures I took over the weekend. If you have pictures to share, create your own album inside the 2011 Juana Good Time Regatta.
Here's mine.

Funny, I just recently saw the movie version of Galaxy (unwatchable, some books should never be movies).
Third Place, Y Fleet!

If it just had, "Don't Panic printed on it, it would be perfect! By the way Tami, thanks for the heads up about TCDYC. I am going out to the Red Fish Reach to meet those folks next month. Very much looking forward to it.
Damon, yeah you rite about the movie. There are black holes that suck less than that movie did.
BTW I think the people who make Juana's mugs are the same who made the OSYC mugs... and if so, if you microwave something in the mug, the mug gets VERRRY hot. Don't ask me how I know.
BTW2: THEBEACHCATS.COM mugs DON'T do that! You can heat 'em in the nuker!!
MIke, glad you hooked up with the TCDYC gang. Nice buncha folks
