Hello,
here is a potential logo.
If anyone wants to push the original drawing around some, i can email them the vector file.
Also consider limiting any racer to 1 mast and sail or "rig" per event. no switch rigs for various conditions.

guess there has to be 1 cat class that can be just for the very rich or very well sponsored.
picking your rig for that paticular heat can be one of the more important tactics. In fact you can have a caddy with an entire aternate rig sailing around with you before the start so you can pick the biggest set-up minutes before the gun.

How about this one.

I only did it in black and white but can add colors or dumb it down for print.

I think it is actually a 14..Catamaran vector art is VERY hard to find.

Just thinking..

If you can, try making the boat look similar to an A cat. Looks nice!

Thank you!

I probably can't alter that image too much so I might have to draw something instead. If you can post a picture of a cat that is similar to what you are looking for I could go from that.

Tracie,

Thanks for taking the time! I'm heading off to work and I'll see what I can find time permitting. Hopefully have something tomorrow morning.

Thanks again,

Bob

Hi Tracie -hi Bob

here is the new MM design A class cat in a series of pics
-it just needs to look 4 ft shorter for the 14 logo
http://morrellimelvin.com/a2/

hope that is helpfull -

you might check the F-18 logo http://www.naf18.com/
or 16 logo http://www.geocities.com/f16hpclass/F16HP_whats_new.html
OR the Formula 20 http://www.formula20.org/

4 foot shorter in the sail, hull or overall?
Bob, should the hulls be more traditional H14 or more techie like the A-Cat?

overall a little shorter hull and mast height with sail
maybe a diagram will help>

there is more of a scaled side view of a typical 16
from the F-16 diagram and basic box specifications for the 16s on the 16 web site ---very close proportionally -just approximately one eighth smaller .
http://www.geocities.com/f16hpclass/
looks like a fun class .
We all need to learn to measure boats and sails now per ISAF guidelines to make these classes work ,-it helps having a sail maker involved .--thanks Bob

think this will work also
just enlarge the drawing once it appears
per arrow symbol after clicking the diagram
--edit -no luck

instead just go to the F-16 site
hit whats new
then the box rule reference diagram -
