Ok I have not gotten the box yet for the trailer, but I am traveling with the boat this weekend. How do you guys store the pole on the boat without a box? Thought about tying it to the beams, but not sure what the wind might do to the bag even after tying it down. any suggestions helps.

Tie it to the beams. I leave the kite in the snuffer. This stops it turning into a wind sock on the road, although it's not too bad if you leave it on.
