I wish I had those building skills now, much less at 17.
How about a little more of the story? Does he have a site up chronicling the build?

Yes, there is a site where he has all the design, some pictures and a bunch of information on what he did. Click on the video to open it in youtube, the link for it is in the commentary text.

Important: the site is in French. You can try google translate but I'm not sure how it will cope.

This is impressive! If this guy doesn't start his own company, he could get a job with Hobie France.

He all
I’m the builder of this boat. Thanks for these comment, this very nice to read this
I’m currently a student and I have much difficulty in English. It’s very important for me to become bilingual and I try to progress before my examination.
I wish translate my website for progress in English, so if anyone can help me and explain my faults by mail that will be very cool.
Otherwise we can just speak about sailing and english grammar <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />
I don't know what can I send in return maybe technical knowledge, french grammar or just a big smile <img src="<>/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" />

thanks all

Raphael, have no worries, your English is excellent!

Heck, you already spell better than I do, and my Mom was an English teacher!

Tell you what, you come over here and teach me how to build a boat like that, and I'll teach you how to swear, in English!

Hey, do you like movies about Gladiators?

(that's a joke guys, don't get your bloomers in a knot!)

I noticed a

translate

option with Google when looking at your website that turned most everything into English. Even if you did not do the translation (which was pretty good) I sent some notes on it to your email address.

Just because your boat is so dang cool looking. Timbo can translate

dang

for you. Hope you pass your exam.

Thanks to JJ, my first english page: http://raphael-censier.jimdo.com/home/
For the next page, I try to translate alone. I'm sorry if I will be the shame of shakespeare's language.

Wow. Did you guys check out his website? 7.6 kg kayak, the hovercraft is off the top cool (check the video)and look how little time he takes to build these things. . . and tutorials to boot. I'm impressed.

Thank you for sharing with us Raphael. Now you need to build a glider (soar plane).
