Regatta #1 of Islamorada Race Week, the Coconut Grove Invitational, ended today with three fantastic races in 14-16 knots of wind, fairly big chop, and thankfully hardly any weed on the course. Correction from yesterday, we have 40 competitors.

Yesterday's leader, Lars Guck, broke his tiller crossbar in the first race which took him out of the action for two races.
Tomorrow is a lay day to rest or do some more tuning. Racing resumes with the Midwinter Championship regatta on Thursday and finishes Friday. What a great week of sailing so far!
