Didn't make it last weekend. Miserable weather Saturday, family commitments Sunday. Anybody go who would like to comment on what was particularly sweet? I really wanted to see the PDQ Antares 44'. Looks great on the internet, but haven't seen a real one. Can't afford any of them, but it's nice to dream...

I went on Thursday and missed the rain. The coolest unobtainable was the Gunboat 48. All carbon fiber, an interior that looks like a 5 star hotel, except for the carbon sinks and faucets, and a cool 1.3 million dollar price tag.

Tim Layne a Chesapeake sailor with an R33 was there showing the boat and was going to take people out for rides. Not sure that happened with the rain. Tim won the overall, line honors, at this past summer's Govenor's Cup, beating a 60' racing mono; that caught the keel boaters attention. Good for cats. I'd love to see an R33 with enough inside space that my wife would go for it; even if that would make it slower, it would still be quite quick.

SIG45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats what it is! Its a 45x26 cat that has a minimal hard "tramp" and 3 double berths IN the hulls themselves. Polars show that its a windspeed boat and a little more when reaching.

Wish I had the website address. I'll post it when I get home later today.
