Does anybody know the type of catamaran shown during the first few minutes in the movie "Deep Blue Sea"?

All that buoyancy in the front makes me believe it's a SuperCat.

True, veru true. Lots of volume in the bow but still lightweight overall. might be a tallrig as well.(?)
Bill Roberts, do you care to help with this identification? Is this one of your designs?

No roto molded boats are recreational boats, that is a racing model, look at all the effort that has gone onto weight saving. Even the trampoline has been cut right back.

I read all the posts first went back to the index and later decided to come back to the picture. I originally thought with my limited experience that I couldn't identify the cat. Little did I know what cat you guys were looking at.

The hardware is minimal on this rig, but the new high tech software is tops.

BTW. The girl in the picture looks ok too! Looks just like my wife!!!

Look at the middle of the pic. Now, look further down. (Still further ! )
You should see the boat now.

Looks like it might be partially constructed with silicone.

Looks like a high-maintenance boat. Perhaps if someone posted a pic with the boat cover removed we could see if it has been well fitted-out

Unfortunately, it is not permitted to remove covers on this website, so you will just have to speculate.

In fact, this boat cover is "pushing the envelope," so to speak.

It looks like it has the hardware to handle the rough stuff. Especially big rollers...
