I'm repainting my Stiletto 23 and need to transport the hulls to the paint shop for application of the top coat. I would like to transport them upside down on the stands instead of on the normal trailer so that I don't scratch or gum up the prepped surfaces. Travel distance between the yard and the paint shop is about a mile and a half. Anyone know where I can rent a light duty flatbed trailer in the Bay Area (San Francisco)?

Try a flatbed tow truck. It might cost a little more but you don't have to go get a trailer and return it. Twice.

How about a standard boat trailer? Short distance, two trips. Assume you have taken the boat apart. Most trailers, with minimum support should accomidate you hulls in the inverted position.
