IKE went through Galveston and Houston yesterday and left his mark. Galveston is a disaster - looks like Pensacola Beach after IVAN, but worse just due to shear numbers of people, homes and boats affected. The Houston Yacht Club took a big hit. Many big boats stacked on each other and high and dry. Downtown Houston is closed due to clean up. Lots of glass from windows blown out. It will be long time before things are back to some semblance of
normal
