Hi,
I have search far and wide for a article on why Hobie redesigned hull to a less curved one in 1972,The orginal is curved from bow to stern without any flat spots whatsoever. This makes sense in light of less resistance in water, a more box type design would cause resistance.
I am wondering back then to present time hull design is marketing driven.
