Thanks in advance

I really like all the names and different paint jobs, I wonder why we don't do that up here?

I got to set-up an older Auscat from the late 70's. I think that it was a 1979 vintage boat. The hulls were yellow and the decks black. The decks looked as if they had been replaced. The bows tapered to a fine entry and then the boat mushroomed out admidship and then tapered down to a 3" transom. The truly was just enough space for the rudderheads. The transom was concave and shaped to fit the rudderheads. It was an interesting design for its time. I will sail it again next week. It was an older generation mast and sail. Pinhead, but I think that the mast is shorter than the current version. It was nice to be able to see the design thoughts going on in the A-Class at that time. If you look at what was being marketed at that time, it was ahead of its time.
